Satellite Dish Removal Before a Roof Replacement

· New Hampshire exteriors

Old dish mounts leave holes that must be sealed or removed before new shingles go down. Plan it before tear-off day — not during.

Why it matters

  • Lag bolts and mounts puncture the deck
  • Abandoned cables route water under shingles
  • New shingles should not be cut around dead hardware

Who removes it

You can schedule your satellite provider, a handyman, or ask us to remove abandoned mounts as part of tear-off when agreed in writing.

Active service dishes you want to keep need a relocation plan before we start.

On the proposal

We note known penetrations during the estimate. Surprise mounts found at tear-off are priced as a change when they need extra sealing work.
