FAQ
Straight answers on estimates, weather, insurance, and what "done" means — before you book a visit. Español
What does an estimate include?
An on-site visit, measurements, notes on access and staging, and a written scope with inclusions. You get a quote validity window so material prices don't surprise you mid-decision.
Do you guarantee my insurance claim will pay?
No. We can document damage and needed repairs clearly. Approval and payment decisions stay with your carrier. Anyone who "guarantees" a payout is overpromising.
How do New Hampshire seasons affect scheduling?
Peak installs run late spring through fall. We build weather float into start dates and tell you early if a storm or freeze shifts the calendar. Winter is better for planning and emergency repairs than for every full replacement.
What about ice dams?
Ice dams are a climate + attic reality in Southern NH — heat loss melts snow, water refreezes at cold eaves. We can repair damage and improve roof-edge details; long-term prevention often needs ventilation/insulation work (sometimes a separate trade). We won't sell a full tear-off as a magic ice-dam cure without saying what else matters.
Do you offer financing?
We can point you to payment options and lender partners once those are set up — see Financing. Credit decisions belong to the lender, not our crew.
Will you protect my landscaping and driveway?
Yes — tarps, paths, and tidy staging are part of the process. After roof work we magnetic-sweep for nails. Tell us about gardens, wells, or septic lids at the estimate.
What's the difference between Good / Better / Best?
Same honest install discipline — different material and detail packages. We put upgrades in writing so you compare inclusions, not mystery low bids.
Do you do kitchens, baths, or interior remodel?
Exteriors come first. We can price selective interior finish tied to envelope work (for example trim after windows, or limited drywall/paint at a documented stain once the outside is sound). Full kitchens, baths, and additions are usually a remodel-partner handoff — see Interior. We won’t pretend to be a whole-home design-build firm.
Where do you work?
Hillsborough and Rockingham focus — see the draft town list on Service Areas. Nearby towns may be possible as capacity allows.
What warranties do I get?
Workmanship terms are stated on your proposal (5). Manufacturer warranties follow the product literature for shingles, siding, or windows you select.
Still have a question?
