Working With GCs: Exterior Trade Partner Notes

· New Hampshire exteriors

GCs need clear scopes, current insurance, and crews that show up when the schedule says. Here is how we partner on exterior packages.

What to send with the RFQ

  • Plans or sketches of elevations
  • Target start window and sequencing notes
  • Whether windows are in our package or another trade
  • Site access, dumpster, and parking constraints

What we return

Written inclusions and exclusions, unit pricing for decking when relevant, and COI on request.

We flag conflicts early — e.g. siding before kick-out flash is ready.

Homeowner vs GC lane

Homeowners use the estimate form. GCs use the contractor RFQ path so we route correctly.

Same quality standard either way — different paperwork rhythm.
