What to Photograph After Storm Roof Damage

· New Hampshire exteriors

Good photos speed up honest repair planning. You do not need to get on the roof to document most storm damage.

Start safe

Stay off the roof and away from downed lines. Photograph from the ground, windows, or a drone if you have one legally.

Photo list

  • Wide shots of each roof plane from the yard
  • Close-ups of missing or lifted shingles
  • Dented gutters, downspouts, and window trim
  • Interior stains with a reference object for scale
  • Date-stamped wide shots of the property
  • Your insurance declaration page (redact account numbers)

What we do with your photos

We use photos to decide if an on-site visit makes sense and to prep materials. We do not promise carrier outcomes — we document what we see and write a repair scope you can compare.

Want a written scope for your home?

Tell us your town and what you are seeing — we reply with clear next steps and an on-site visit when it fits.
